For two days, October 21st (Wednesday) and 22nd (Thursday), 2nd year of Reiwa, the Fire and Disaster Management Agency Fire Research Center Special Disaster Laboratory, Kagoshima City Fire Department, and Airashi Fire Department 3 organizations jointly designed the emergency fire support team. We held a running performance verification experiment such as climbing performance, loading performance, and transportation performance of the injured and sick at the volcanic ash disposal site in Arimura-cho, Sakurajima, Kagoshima City, using the amphibious buggy.
In addition, on Friday, the 23rd, we held a lecture on the buggy of the staff of the Fire and Disaster Management Agency Fire Research Center, and confirmed the common understanding as the fire department headquarters.
We will continue to strive to improve our disaster response capabilities through repeated training and verification in preparation for actual disasters and disaster dispatches based on what we have actually experienced in this training.
