Sakurajima-Kinkowan Geopark Sketch Contest learns about the charm of Sakurajima-Kinkowan Geopark and lives in it by drawing things related to geo such as nature and scenery of Sakurajima and Kinkowan, play and farming experience. The purpose is to make the community feel attached and proud.
This year as well, the event was held for children attending elementary schools in Aira City, Kagoshima City, and Tarumizu City, and a record high of 2,709 works were collected.
Of these, 43 prize-winning works will be exhibited on the following dates. Please take a look at the wonderful works that express the charm of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay.
- Exhibition period: January 8th (Saturday) to January 23rd (Sunday), 4th year of Reiwa
Exhibition location: Shigetomi Kaigan Nature Fureaikan Nagisa Museum (7675 Hiramatsu, Aira City)
